MLO presents “Hula With The Stars." Hula With The Stars is MLO's very own spinoff of the TV Show “Dancing With The Stars." We are looking for individuals who are STARS in the community. 

 

We want to highlight your story of how you have impacted the community in a positive way or how cancer has affected your life. Sharing your story of success will help inspire others in the community while you gain exposure for yourself and or your company. By sharing your story, we want to showcase how dancing Hula or Tahitian will be a great learning experience.  In the process, the individual Stars will see how dance can benefit their mind body and soul. 

 

Three chosen Stars will be paired with our very own professional Hula/Tahitian Dancers who will learn one dance routine within 3 months. We will follow your practice sessions and film your progress . Then you will have a spotlight performance during our Hula Away The Cancer Benefit Recital in May.

 

 

The only criteria is that individual STARS must be:

Public Figures, Public Authority, Community Leaders, City Council Members, School Principle or Teacher, CEO/President of a Corporation, a Cancer Survivor, or anyone that made an impact in the community.

 

 

The STARS will have to commit to weekly practices and be able to perform on the recital date. Weekly progress will be video recorded and shared on social media channel and our website for cross marketing. This marketing will benefit not only our STARS  but will also help market our Annual Hula Away the  Cancer Benefit Recital. Then portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales of the benefit recital will be donated to the  American Cancer Society.
